It does. It uses steam so it doesn't completely fry your hair like most straighteners but it's pretty darn good. Your hair stays straight for a while and doesn't go wavy/frizzy as much as the other straighteners. Overall, the Conair Infiniti has been reliable and a good buy.Does anyone know if the Conair Infiniti Professional ceramic flat irons straightens hair well?

but if ur gonna get a straightener
get the remington wet to straight
it can straighten hair while its still wet
and it has little holes in the top to let steam out so it doesnt crush ur hair and leave those ugly creases
it also doesnt dry out the hair as much
