What are the benefits of using a ceramic flat iron on ones hair than metal?

Metal flat irons catch on hairs and pull on them creating more damage and usually causing kinks that need to be re-ironed...causing even MORE damage. Ceramic irons heat up more evenly and are much smoother and usually only require one or 2 passes depending on the type you buy.

Apparently it easier on the hair itself and gets hotter. I recently bought one at the advice of my stylist and I love it - it only takes one pass to get rid of the frizz.
It is safer for the health of your hair. Also use a protective serum as well.
Ceramic ones tend not to burn your hair and leaves your hair super shiny....the metal ones damange your hair a lot. I got a ceramic one and OMG I luv it it was worth spending the $100+ for it. =)
