My boyfriend has started getting a receding hairline and hes only 18, does anyone know how to stop this?

Hair loss is often linked to poor diet, especially consumption of fried foods, hydrogenated oils and INFECTION (including bacterial, viral, fungal or parasitic) that may be in the scalp itself (often causing dandruff) or it may be a systemic infection. It's also linked to mineral deficiencies, intestinal infections (where waste products backup into the liver, that can affect the head and scalp. Mineral deficiencies can be caused by infections ANYWHERE in the body and a deficiency in co-factors that allow the body to even absorb what is consumed. Lack of sunlight, heavy metal exposure (especially due to bad dentistry that is rampant in the U.S. now due to the materials, chemicals, and procedures being followed as a ';standard of care'; dentistry), etc.

If his hair is coming out in clumps, that is typically a parasite. If it is male pattern baldness, that is typically due to dihydrotestosterone (a derivative of testosterone) ';DHT'; that hardens the galea (skin on top of the head) and chokes the hair follicle to death, resulting in hair loss.

This type of hair loss can be slowed and even reversed by eating a high quality Oat Grass because the Oat Grass prevents the formation of the DHT.

There is some genetic issues, but contrary to popular belief, it is very small. Most are due to the above factors.

I found a great source for the Oat Grass in capsules that contain no excipients and works for most of my clients. Go to: (800) 370 - 3447 and order the Oat Grass and take lots of it. I think you will see a difference.

good luck to youMy boyfriend has started getting a receding hairline and hes only 18, does anyone know how to stop this?
He needs to make sure that he eats a well balanced diet. He should take a multivitamin every day in addition to getting as much nutrition from food as he can. He needs to be especially sure to eat plenty of vitamin E. Multigrain Cheerios are a good source, as well as sunflower seeds.

He might also want to wash his hair with a shampoo containing vitamin E. If necessary he might want to consider using Rogaine, though it's not effective for everyone. My boyfriend has started getting a receding hairline and hes only 18, does anyone know how to stop this?
Just because it is receding does not mean he will be bald. I know most young men worry a great deal about there hair sort of like the Fonz on happy days. It is no big deal. He can save on hair cuts and shampoo if he does become bald. I have had two frontal lobe surgery's and my hair came back fine but then my family has always had a full head of hair, now my dads brother went bald so did his son. But yet there dad had a full head of hair. It is crazy. Also I have always heard that a man who is bald in front is a thinker and if it is in back he is a good lover, but if it goes all the way then he thinks he is a good lover.
it's genetic. Look at his mom's dad. If he is bald then your boyfriend will be bald also. He can try the rogaine and hair plugs but eventually that all will get too expensive and a hassle and he'll finally concede that he's a bald guy. It took my husband more than 50 years to give up.
Can't stop genetics.
there is Rogaine, and there is also hair transplants.
My boyfriend has it too at 21.
Damn those genes...
