Will getting a buzz cut slow down a receding hairline?

i mean i know lots of people who were receding rapidly and once they got either a shaved head or a buzz the balding seemed to slow way down. Has this anything to do with cutting down on hair products being used or something? regardsWill getting a buzz cut slow down a receding hairline?
It will not slow down the receding, but it will make it less noticeable. If you want the hair back try rogaine or look into hair transplants.
