just out of curiousity coz i heard this is a myth can a doctor actually this is a true statement.You get your hair from your mums dad- this determines hairloss/receding hairline etc is this true?
Early hair loss in men comes from the mother's side of the family. For example, if her father, brothers lost their hair early, then her sons will suffer the same fate.

Genes that are located on the X or Y-chromosomes are call sex-linked. Genes on the other 22 pairs of chromosomes are called autosomal. It is felt that the genes governing common baldness are autosomal. This means that the baldness trait can be inherited from the mother's side of the family or the father's side. The commonly held notion that baldness comes only from the mother's side of the family is incorrect,
well my dad never had a hair out his head,yet my grandad,mothers dad,was,my brother wasnt,but might of been,i am slightly,lol.and thats a fact.but i dont know if it a scientific one,i shave mine anyway,i always have,i must of known.
