I don't use thyroid supplements but I can pass on to you information about adverse reactions to Armour.
One of the less common adverse reactions is diaphoresis. Diaphoresis is generalized and profuse perspiration. Sweat often causes itching so I'll have to discount that. Not me. I feel so much better on Armour. It usually helps with those who have hairloss that was caused by hypothyroidism. It's quite possible you might be allergic to one of the fillers. if you want to stay natural, you could try naturethroid.
The increased sweating could mean you metabolism is coming back a little or you are on too much medication. Armour is adjusted by the blood tests free t4 and free t3Anyone taking Armour Thyroid have side effects such as itchy back upon sweating or excessive hair loss?
I am on Armour and know many people that are and this one I never heard of... Are you on the correct dose? Do you get your thyroid tested regularly? Do you have other health issues? Although - you can show some side effects or allergy to one of the components of the tablet (like corn starch) - but these symptoms might also be related to other issues... If anything you should have hair growth - especially if you have been on the correct dose of Armour for a while. Itching can be an allergic reaction or even a skin condition, or something simple as allergic to a detergent. Good luck to you!
