Can using Rogain on a receding hairline negatively affect it?

I've been using Rogain for about 6 months now for my receding hairline. my hairline has not receded TOO far back yet, but if it goes back much further it will be. I want to do my best to ensure this does not happen so i'm just making sure Rogain will not negatively affect it in any way. Also is there anything else i can do for my hairline? i dont know bro but i am having the same problem i was going to use rogain but it says on the box not for receding hairline, but i have been hearing alot about Provillus, but i dont want to start on something and have to take it the rest of my life, and i dont know if provillus works for receding as well
