How can I tell the difference between a receding hairline and a normal curved hairline?

I have been noticing that the corners of my hairline extend back, making my hairline look like a semi circle. Can this just be my natural hairline or is this a sign of future balding?How can I tell the difference between a receding hairline and a normal curved hairline?
