I've just started to realise that my former square hairline has started to recede a bit. However, everyone comments that I have the same hair as my dad who has still got a full brown head of hair at 55. Is this normal? I have been pretty stressed over the last 2 or 3 years, do you think that has contributed to it? My brother said that young men don't normally have the same hairline as they do when they were kids and everyone's recedes a little. CheersIs a receding hairline on a 22 year old male normal?
It is due to genetics and other factors. I started thinning around 17.Is a receding hairline on a 22 year old male normal?
i wouldn't worry about it to much if i were you.has your mums side of the family got a history of baldness? if so have a talk with one of your uncles. you say you've been stressed for 2-3years. don't you think you should address that instead of worrying about your hairline?
stress can be a killer baldness isn't!
take a break, relax and reevaluate your life.
good luck
meh a few of my mates have receding hairlines, and they aren't bald, hairlines go back and mature, it doesn't mean your going to loose it all.
It is a genetic thing unfortunately, there will be someone in your immediate blood line who receeded early too
As every ones said its genetic, normally from the mothers side, my hubbie was bald by the time he was 20...but i couldn't imagine him with hair...bald is SEXY!
I knew a guy with a receding hairline at age 23. He's almost going bald.
