Irons are bad for your hair if you over use them. So ceramic or metal, granite perhaps? Just remember--it's hair, it can only stand so much! :)Is the use of a ceramic flat iron good or bad for your hair? Why or Why not?
Supposidly good for your hair as long as you dont hold it in one spot to long or use it while your hair is wet. My hair stylest said that it seals down the (something) cells in your hair making it smoother. Is the use of a ceramic flat iron good or bad for your hair? Why or Why not?
yes its fine because it won`t hurt your hair if its dry don`t worry it will be fine
Should be fine as long as your hair is dry when you're straightening it. Otherwise you could break or damage the hair. Also don't hold it on one section to long.
any heat applied to hair is damaging. try a new tech call ceramic tourmaline. i purchased one a few weeks ago, and it doesn't seem to be doing much damage at all. i also use tresseme heat tamer protectant with it. you will find tourmaline ceramics at sally's beauty supply store or on line. give it a try!
Ceramic heat is good for your hair, as opposed to the heat provided by a regular hair dryer or curling iron. I have a ceramic heat/ionic hair dryer (by Conair), and it has significantly cut down on the frizziness and flyaway hair problem I've had since childhood. And the ionic drying feature dries my hair in one-third of the time it takes for a regular hair dryer to do the work, and it leaves my hair soft and shiny. I think that happens because the job happens in so little time. Also, I recommend a high-wattage dryer, my ionic/ceramic heat one by Conair is 1875 watts.
