I am 18 years old and have a receding hairline. There is no one on my mom's or dad's side of the family that are bald. I am actually the only one in my family that has this. If you have a receding hairline does it always mean you will go bald in the future? And what causes this if it is not in my family?Receding Hairline!?!?
Not entirely, but you may have a family member that you're not aware of that does have the gene. It could be a recessive gene that just so happened to hit you, but if you are a person who stresses easily or has done a lot of work with your hair that doesn't help either.
