Slightly receding hairline at the temples at 16?

I think I have a slightly receding hairline at my temples, however, I have no hair loss and my hair is very thick and covers it up.

Im 16 and I have thick hair also and as the weight tends to drag it down, which may explain the reason. There's not really much you can do with this but I'm sure worrying doesn't help! It helps to avoid tugging at it generally and being more gentle with it ie use gentler hair products. Stress could also be an important factor in this - you might want to examine your curent lifestyle to deduce whether this is the case. If it worsens or you find it especially troubling perhaps a visit to your GP might help?

If you have heavy hair, it may be contributing. Sadly, the trend will probably continue at a slow pace over the years.
