Rogaine and other minoxidil products are not recommended for receding hairline or frontal baldness. But I need something! There has to be a hair piece or something I can wear. What Can I Do About My Receding Hairline?
It's not that minoxidil is ';not recommended'; for frontal hair loss, it just hasn't been shown to be all that effective in very many men with that pattern of hair loss. Who knows? It may, or may not work on you. You have to try it to see if it will.
I have that pattern of hair loss and I would recommend a daily regimen of finasteride, 5% minoxidil, and 2% ketoconazole shampoo. It has been clinical proven in human studies to actually work but you should see a dermatologist first (approx. $75 for an office visit if you don't have insurance). You can find credible and reliable information about treatments that work at the links below. What Can I Do About My Receding Hairline?
You can use a toupee if it is worrying you, But you know some guys look good without hair.
Good Luck
I wouldn't worry about it. Embrace your age. Don't get a toupee. They look ridiculous.
What's wrong with shaving it all off and accepting radical baldness as if you'd wanted it? It works for me...
