Do men get receding hairlines at their ankles and calves?

I have patches of hair virtually balding and they seem to be catching up with what seems like receding hair. Are my shins gonna go bald? Is that why old men like long socks?Do men get receding hairlines at their ankles and calves?
I've never heard of it, but I've often wondered about it. I work in a hospital and I often see old men that have bare legs and wondered if that's something that normally happens like balding.Do men get receding hairlines at their ankles and calves?
I've only heard of receding hairlines on the top of you head!! No, your shins are not going to go bald. :)
