My friend just began depression medication (lexapro) about a month ago. We've noticed that her hairline is kind of receding and she's only 15! Could it possibly be because of the medication she's on?Medication and Receding Hairlines?
Hair loss is not one of the listed side effects of Lexapro. If she is experiencing hair loss (and it's very possible that this is imagined--especially in a 15 year old female), she should consult with her doctor. It's very doubtful that Lexarpo is the cause.
