there is nothing.. you are going bald.. no beating around the bush no sugar coating it.. strait up ! you will loose all your hair on top and have a seasers crown.. sorry. what you can do now it try the new comb over hair . or simple shave your head like howy mantel does like on that new show ';howdy do it'; or you can get a wig. sorry buddy i would feel lke the end of the world to if i was going bald.. some times life is just not fairIm 16 and i have a receding hairline? what should i do?
I hate to say it but the chances are if your father is bald you will be too. It can skip generations but in your case its unlikely considering you may already be seeing some hair loss. Talk to your father about what age he was when he started losing his hair %26amp; ask him if he lost it from his hairline 1st or his crown. Compare symptoms, if he did start losing hair from his hairline there's a strong possibilityy you will go bald but not for a long time so don't worry for now as stress can speed up the balding process.
Sorry man. Definitely ask your doctor what the best option is for your age. I don't think that Rogaine is effective for receding hairlines, just on the vertex (see link). Propecia may slow receding hairlines, but it may work differently for each person. Good luck.
use nioxin it workes wonders
I copied and pasted this:

There are a few things you can do to slow down hair loss but there is no way to stop hair loss. However, TeenHealthFX is concerned that there may be something causing your hair loss other than a genetic predisposition. TeenHealthFX recommends that you talk to your doctor about your hair loss. He/She will be able to tell you if there is a reason to be concerned and how to address the problem.

In the meantime, it may help to take out the family photo album and check out the pictures. If you see a pattern of balding men around your age then you may have a clue. Hereditary balding or thinning is the most common cause of hair loss. The tendency can be inherited from either the mother's or father's side of the family. Women can also inherit this trait but rarely become completely bald. The condition is called androgenetic alopecia and it can start in the teens, twenties, or thirties. There is no cure but there is a treatment that may help.

Shampooing, combing and brushing too often can also damage hair, causing it to break. Using a cream rinse or conditioner after shampooing will make it easier to comb. When hair is wet it is more fragile, so rough rubbing with a towel should be avoided. Ignore the old rule of 100 brush strokes a night; it damages hair. Use wide toothed combs and brushes with smooth tips.

Many people who are lose their hair are happy with their appearance and do not seek treatment. Those who do seek treatment may be treated with the topical drug that works for one out of ten people. Wigs and implants are other ways to treat baldness.

Again, TeenHealthFX thinks it would be a good idea to consult a dermatologist about your hair loss. A dermatologist can examine your hair loss and can recommend a course of treatment.
