Can this really happen? Lately I've been hearing a lot of stories about this happen. A friend of mine told me about when his brother worked for transit and was required to wear a hat, then his hairline receded. After he left that job his hairline came back exactly the way it used to be and it never receded again 30 years after that until he died in March of this year. It all depends on what's causing the problem to begin with. If it is genetics - you cannot re-program genetics. If it's from wearing hats, baseball caps or protective helmets at work - then once you stop doing that - reversal can happen.
