Do you use baby oil for the ';look'; ?I'm a guy with a receding hairline. Should I just shave it all off ?
Shave it off and no baby oil. You will get a natural shine.... Just remember to wear sunscreen on your head, baldy, you dont want to burn up there!I'm a guy with a receding hairline. Should I just shave it all off ?
I'm a guy with a bald spot right in the middle of my hair. I didn't know I had it until one day, while vacationing in Las Vegas, I entered a four sided/ceiling wall mirrored elevator. Upon seeing myself with my baldness for the very first time, I told myself, '' Oh, I didn't even know I was balding.'; I continue to be as happy as before I saw myself that beautiful day. Do what ever you want to do, but remember, there people with cancer going through chemotherapy that have lost all their hair.
Shave it! ....no baby oil. =)
Or you could brush it daily with a natural bristle hair brush and it will likely grow back. Go to the salon and get a scalp treatment to learn how to do it yourself. Many times the hair will grow back.
That is, of course, if you don't want to be bald, which maybe you do.
I came to the conclusion to just keep my head shaved about 2 months ago. I have never been a fan of trying to cover up the bald spots or comb overs. I am actually enjoying the change. I simply use a moisturizing lotion that has an spf of 15.
Some guys look fine without shaving it (Sean Connery) but if you still want to do it then first try it short like Jason Statham (The Transporter) if that doesn't work then go for the full bald look like Michael Jordan or Vin Diesel. But at the end all will depends what look best on you and what make you feel happy.
As for the baby oil. No no no. Those shiny heads you see are due to natural oils on the scalp, it' not like they really want to shine the world.
I wouldn't shave it bald, but really close to your scalp.....
If you are uncomfortable with the receding hairline, shave it off. Don't get one of those awful looking hairpieces, receding is much better.
If you have a wife or girlfriend, you may want to discuss this with her; just so she is not completely shocked.
Many women find bald men to be very attractive, don't know about the baby oil though. This may cause you to get a sunburn on your scalp, which could be very painful. You may want to use a moisturizer with sunscreen in it.
Have a good day.
If your receding hairline makes you feel insecure or uncomfortable, by all means, change your look. Here's the thing, if you shave it all off, what you have will grow back. So, you can change your mind. Then, too, I've heard when you shave your head and let the hair grow back in, it comes in thicker, but I'm not sure that is scientific! You could use baby oil to ';put a shine on'; or a suntanning product that will protect that new exposed skin (better idea). My son, who is a doctor in residence (works ungodly hours) shaves his head just for the convenience. He's always got that surgical rag on his head anyway, so the shaved head isn't exposed too often.
You are in a great position because shaved heads are sort of the ';in'; thing and have been for quite sometime; and guys look great with them. Look at Howie on Deal or No Deal. Pretty cool cat!
YES! My husband shaves his head %26amp; it looks great. But no baby oil unless you want a greasy, shiny head on purpose!
my bf has a receding hairline. he did have his hair longer before but he recently shaved it. it looked good both ways.
and what is the ';look';? i say no baby oil...ewww...
Absolutely, or even just a very short cut is good. Keep in mind that you need confidence to go along with it. No baby oil.
Yes! Bald headed men are very sexy so don't even stress out about that! (I'm not sure about the baby oil thing - it may just block your pores - maybe try a light scalp moisturizing oil instead.)
yeah that's best shave it off so u won't look ridiculous and use grease it works much better
