Receding Hairline at 16?

Since i was 14, i've noticed that my hairline has either been receding or is just extremely unnatural, i turned 16 about 4 months ago and have realized that it goes back about 1 inch on each side of my head and is pretty thin (my family has thin hair %26amp; little history of balding). I went to the doctor and he said that he didn't find traces of a receding hairline and he said losing hairs with the roots on them is no big deal, i'm still a little concerned and i started using progaine shampoo a few weeks ago to see if that would help, its not helping too much so far, is there any suggestions to what i can do? If this was happening to me like 10 years from now, i would be fine with it but for the time being i'm extremley self conscience about this. thank you to all.Receding Hairline at 16?
I mean it may just be your genetics even though there isnt not a huge balding percentage in your family. What I would tell you to try is get rid and stop using shampoos that have sodium lauryl sulfate in it. That can cause hair lose. Reasearch it and start using natural shampoos.Receding Hairline at 16?
Either you got it or you don't. I went bald at 17. I tried so many things, but nothing worked. I just shave it now and let myself be a solar powered sex machine for the ladies.
Don't wear any hats or hoods, they can contribute to hair loss if you wear them a lot.
Shave your head. Its the in look now, and then you won't have to worry about it.
