Receding hairline due to vigorous towel drying?

Recently, I've noticed my hairline is slightly receding at each temple (I'm 16 by the way) and I've been wondering - is this due to VIGOROUS towel drying (and when I say vigorous, I mean vigorous). I've done this for years to my hair and sometimes used to gel it from the front. Could this be causing the slight recesion? And if I stop towel drying it - will it stop and grow back?

Thanks.Receding hairline due to vigorous towel drying?
im not sure but its quite possible that that could be the cause of it i would say stop towel drying for a while and see if the hair starts to grow back. if not idk i would maybe go to a doctor to ask them b/c it could be due to a hormone imbalance or something more serious like thatReceding hairline due to vigorous towel drying?
Do you wear your hair up a lot? and if so, do you have thick hair?

well, if you do, then that is the reason your hairline is receding. not the towel drying.

oh, you could also try to lay off the towel drying for a bit...i really think your receding hairline is due to you wearing your hair up a lot, however.
