Receding Hairline Help!?

I am 15 and already my hairline is starting to recede... it sucks real bad and i was wondering what is causing it because ever since i turned 15 its like my body turned on a hair receding switch. Can acne medicine cause this at all? or am i screwed to get it back to normalReceding Hairline Help!?

What is not mentioned in this article is thyroid problems. A low functioning thyroid gland ( a condition known as hypothyroidism ) can cause your hair to fall out. You should have your family doc check your blood for thyroid functioning.



You mentioned acne medicine and were wondering if that could be causing the recession of your hariline. You did not mention what med you are taking, but I highly doubt that any acne med would have receding hairline as a side effect. Hey, anything is possible, so again, I would suggest you speak with your prescribing doc and ask him about it.



Hormones can cause this to occur and at age 15, as you well know, your hormones are going crazy, right?



Consider genetics, stress, diet and nutrition, hormones.....all the factors to consider....and speak to your family doc about your concerns.

That guy on seinfeild...that bald guy, he started balding when he was 14.



i started balding when I was 18. Not as bad as you, but still bad. There really isn't much you can do about it. you can slow it down, by doing cardio. Don't shampoo your hair everyday...and sometimes, don't even wet your hair everyday. Gel and hair products like that speed up the balding process, and pumpkin seeds block the hormone that makes you bald.



I've been able to stale the process of balding, when the rest of my family, on my mom and dads side, have already been mostly bald by the time they are 25. I'm 23 and only have a thin spon on the back of my head.
