Hi,
My name is Daniel and I am 24 years old. At the moment, my hairline is slightly receding on the right side (the left side is fine, still juvenile hairline). It is very minor and not all that noticable. I'm just wondering if a receding hairline can stop. My hairline has been this way for almost 5 years now and it hasn't changed.
Also, 5 years ago, my hairline was normal. However, around this time, I went to the hairdressers to get my hair streaked for the first time in my life. There was a communication breakdown and the hairdresser end up bleaching my enitre head. She pasted the bleach onto my whole head with a brush. At the time, I thought this was the correct procedure for streaking, as I had never had it done before. Anyway, the bleach sat in my hair and it began to sting my head after a while. Could this have contributed to the thinning of my hair on the right side of me head?
Thanks for your help in advance. Can a receding hairline stop?
It sounds to me like your hairdresser burned your hair out. Bleach is a very tricky chemical, and leaving it in too long can cause hair lose. You should make sure your hair stays conditioned that is VERY important, but there is no sure think that your hair will grow back. Can a receding hairline stop?
Yeah it should, my brother had the same problem and his eventually stopped.
