well just after a shower brush your hair back and make that part u desire andkeep doing that and you shoud get the part you wantMy receding hairline...please answer?
You're not in the navy yet so do whatever you want while you can. Grow it out now. The navy'll take care of the issue for you when you go in...
get a bang and no body will know! And make sure you buy shampoos and conditioners that strenghten your hair. Other than that. theres really nothing you can do.

Oh you are a boy! And you are going to the navy. This is going to sound..... idk, but just shave it off. You'll hate it at first, but trust me, you'll get used to it.
Don't let it damage your confidence. That's why yoga and weight lifting were invented. Even if you lost all your hair and there was nothing you could do about it, you could still assert yourself with the right physique.

However, there are things you can do to work with your hair. But it is important to start early.

The commercials may be cheezy, but Rogaine actually works. There are only two FDA-approved solutions for hair loss. Rogaine is one of them. It can slow hair loss down or even reverse it. But you have to use it for the rest of your life.

Propecia is the other FDA-approved solution. Its a pill that you have to get a prescription for.

Now, I know you're 17, but when you get old enough to afford it, you might consider hair transplantation. The procedure is a kind of outpatient surgery.....meaning you go in a few times and walk out after a few hours. (You don't need to stay overnight or be put to sleep or any of that stuff).

Here's how it works. Ever noticed how the hairs on the back and sides of a man's scalp never fall out? Nobody knows why, but for some reason these hairs are immune to DHT (dihydrogentestosterone), the stuff that causes hair loss in both men and women. SO, all the doctor does is move some of the hairs from the back and sides to the front and top. Even though the hairs have been moved, they will continue to grow for the rest of your life.

It is $, though, and you need to have it done by a reputable professional. But its good technology.

And hey--I know it is rough to go through a situation that nobody else seems to be going through. But don't let anybody give you flack for it. Almost all the guys at your school will be going through the same thing in a few years...and even many of the girls will have to face it at some point in their lifetime. It can be stressful, but its a perfectly normal part of getting older.
